Hey, welcome to the new year 2019!

What a great & exciting feeling it is starting out on this journey with you especially on the turn of a new year…Fresh!!!
The past year 2018 came with its ‘HIGH’s & low’s’. This new year 2019 likewise has its ‘HIGH’s & low’s’ in store too.
Come what may, let it be this for you and yours:

“HIGH positivity & a plus to everything on the good side… low negativity & a minus to everything on the bad side.”

Also, from my ministry (industry, sector; whichever goes for you) we bring you great news and glad tidings of the sure, safe & secure kind and with an assurance of endless benefits. I therefore urge you on, with a deep sense of duty & responsibility, to give an early thought and begin today to pay yourself a premium for your own benefit.

N.B: ‘Premium’ refers to the money paid on any insurance plan/policy by an individual or group.

Don’t wave it off this time around as you usually might have done before or maybe not done (let’s just say you forgot, right!?); as it will be there to help in meeting your need(s) eventually as it is structured to over a given period, while at the same time you equally play your own important role of consistent premium payment.

Paying your premium can turn out to be one of the most beneficial things you can do for yourself & loved ones. Though initially it may seem somewhat unpleasant & financially tasking, but in the long run it turns out to be most rewarding, offers you tax benefits, helps you cultivate a consistent savings culture and as well provides you with ready money to meet whatever goal you plan to achieve from the word ‘GO‘.

Yea! I know, more often than not there’s this gist from various quarters of people who say thus;

“abegi! moni neva reach pesin to chop talk less of to come buy insurance jare”

…well, it’s relatable and I’m not from Mars anyways.

In our clime (Federal Republic of Naija) where the reverse is often the case of things, many things, it’s understandable for some people to get the chills or nurture distaste when it comes to talks of getting insurance especially with reference to life insurance; the simple truth is this: we’re all hardwired against death, though it’s inevitable and you know, it is often said that the black man/woman has such a voracious appetite cum zest for LIFE, I love life too, who doesn’t? (Emm! do not be mistaken here about the ice cold bottle though…mortuary standard!)

With the industry combatting such plagues as apathy, hearsay bias from prospects, lack of trust, low public enlightenment with a vast majority of the populace in the dark & some not so knowledgeable about it, coupled with individual incomes not measuring up as expected not to speak of the general economy etc. one but wonders at the possibility or perhaps how much longer it will take for every Bolaji, Uju & Danjuma (instead of Tom, Dick & Harry) to be brought to the party under the very big Nigerian insurance canopy with 2018 reports giving the nation’s insurance penetration around the 0.4 percent margin as compared with Kenya having 2.9 percent and South Africa with 16.9 percent penetration respectively.

Regardless of the truths of the above and the situation at hand, it is quite encouraging to note that at least a good number of people are coming to an appreciable understanding of the benefits to be derived in having an insurance and have likewise bought into one or more policies as convenient for them, thanks to the insurance salesmen & women who offer the needed guidance to millions on a daily by taking the good news to doorsteps in every nook and cranny. Do well also to join the league of those ‘good number’ who key into the good news brought by getting insured and you’ll be the better for it…plus, it is way cheaper than you could possibly imagine.

So my fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunties and most of all friends out there, if an insurance agent approaches you anywhere this year asking, knocking or seeking your audience & time (very precious commodities I must say), he/she is not just an ordinary agent but an angel in disguise!

And you know what angels do, don’t you? They guide, guard & protect…because in that agent turned angel, you have a guide to help you on the smartest choice of plan suitable to meet your need(s), such guidance will in turn help you put things in place to guard against losses of any sort & more importantly you’ll be able to protect that which matters most to you – your wealth both in human & material terms, be it life (provision for your dependants) or property.

I raise a toast to your success as we begin this journey dear partner in progress…Cheers!!!
